Nashville Nights hosted by Michael Haney
June 4 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Nashville Nights kicks off this FRIDAY with Nashville Singer/Songwriters taking our stage hosted by Michael Haney!
A native Missourian, Nate learned to play guitar after his dad brought one home—that he never learned to play—when Nate was 12. But he didn’t start writing songs until a decade later.
Frederick’s Debut Album, Different Shade of Blue, sounds as familiar as what you might hear on a friend’s back porch, but Fredrick’s lyrics are bound to get stuck in your head as he works through his relationship to both himself and his home—where he’s from as well as Nashville, where he moved in 2015.
His bluesy Americana style is the result of influences such as Guy Clark, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Van Morrison, to name a few. Fredrick wrote more than 100 songs in the two years after he moved to Music City.
From the mountains of Dahlonega, Georgia, singer and songwriter Jobe Fortnerʼs musical roots run deep with gospel bluegrass and southern rock. Jobe grew up singing hymns in church alongside his family since a child.
It wasnʼt long before Jobe caught the attention of Bradley Jordan (Peachtree Entertainment). Jordan heard him sing his original song “Georgia” and immediately put him on a show with “a new kid he had coming into town…..Luke Combs”. Shortly after that first Combsʼ how, Jobe began to tour with him, opening for his shows every weekend.
After nearly a year of writing and working on his sound, his debut self-titled EP was released in early 2018 and sparked a different level of buzz for Fortner. It garnered the attention of other national acts and led to opening gigs stretching all over the united states with Frankie Ballard, Riley Green, Toby Keith, Cadillac Three, Whiskey Myers, Cody Johnson, The Steel Woods and also led to more shows with Luke Combs.
This is a FREE show. *In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved indoors, rescheduled or cancelled.
