Lighten Up Francis plays popular Rock -N-Roll cover tunes spanning from the 60’s to present day. They play tunes from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd to name a few. The group is made up of friends who have decades of experience of playing together in various forms and joined forces to form LUF 3 years ago. They try to focus on popular covers and some “b” side covers that people enjoy to sing and dance to the tunes. Creighton Waters plays lead guitar and vocals Chris Adams plays rhythm guitar and vocals Jim Thompson play mandolin and vocals David Mosley plays bass guitar Preston Pearman plays the drums.
According to Taste is a band from Anderson, SC that melds original progressive rock with reggae and jazz. The trio was originally formed in 2018 by lead vocalist and guitarist, Daniel Walters. He had been playing with a cover band at the time, when he decided to put together his own band as a way to perform the original songs that he had written. Alexa Fox was the photographer and graphic creator for the band when it formed, and she took on the role of bassist and harmony vocalist in 2020. The two were introduced to Tyler Wedge in 2023 and welcomed him as the drummer and second harmony vocalist soon after. Their performance history includes venues spanning from Atlanta, GA to Raleigh, NC, and many cities between. More recently, the band has been focused on recording their debut album, set to release by the end of 2024. The first two singles from the album, "Bridges" and "Breathe It" are now available to stream on all major music platforms. The three produce all of their audio and video independently, with the occasional hand from a friend.
Sean Mills formed the Widespread Panic tribute band Machine Funk in 2006 in Florence, SC and has since played and worked with the late Todd Nance (Founding Drummer of Widespread Panic) extensively, as well as current Widespread Panic Keyboardist JoJo Hermann, Daniel Hutchins and Jon Mills of Bloodkin, The Reverend Jeff Mosier from Aquarium Rescue Unit, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, North Mississippi Allstars, Randall Bramblett (Traffic), Jay Lane (Dead & Co./Ratdog/Primus) and Keller Williams. Machine Funk performs over 150 original Michael Houser-era Widespread Panic songs and covers, creating a unique set for each show.
